What is a Trout Buck?
This is our way of an additional ‘Thank You’ for our loyal customers. All you baby boomers can remember when grocery stores gave out S&H or Blue Chip stamps. This is the fly-fishing, e-commerce equivalent. With every online order you place, you will receive 10 Trout Bucks points for every $100 you spend and there is no minimum purchase. As an example, if you buy a fly line for $59.95, you will receive 6 Trout Bucks points. The more you buy, the more you get and you don’t even have to lick any stamps!

You can then redeem your Trout Bucks for any items in our online Trout Bucks Catalog, where you’ll find all the dispensable's that everyone needs like tippet, leader, floatant, indicators, etc., and occasionally higher-value items, primarily overstock and discontinued items, which are highly discounted. Save up your points and get a great pair of waders or fly rod.

How it Works
Your Trout Bucks account is automatically credited every time you make an online purchase and you will see a notation on the sales receipt shipped with your order. It will show how many Trout Bucks points were earned with that order and your Trout Bucks account number, which is your area code and phone number plus a 4-digit PIN number, which we assign.
You will need your account number including PIN when you place an order from the Trout Bucks catalog. If you forget your PIN number, drop us an e-mail using the same e-mail address you used when you placed your order and we will send it to you. We do all the record keeping but you should of course keep your receipts showing your Trout Bucks points from every order as a proof of purchase, just in case of any clerical errors.

You can redeem your Trout Bucks points any time after your first order and you have received your PIN number. Simply, pick out which items you want from the Trout Bucks online catalog and e-mail, or fax in your Trout Bucks order. Please no phone calls except for information. All Trout Bucks redemption requests must be by fax or e-mail so we have a printed record.
